What happens if my payment results in a shortage?

Escrow.com will reach out to the Buyer when a payment does not cover the full transaction amount. Buyers may use wires to pay payment shortages of any size and in any of our supported currencies. For shortages below $5,000 in US Dollars (USD) or Australian Dollars (AUD), you will receive an email from Escrow.com which will allow you to pay the shortage using PayPal or a credit card. You may also pay for these shortages via wire transfer. For shortages above $5,000 USD or AUD, you may only pay with wire transfers.

Bank wire fees are a common cause for payment shortages. Please make sure to cover any bank wire fees for payments so Escrow.com receives the full amount for the transaction.

The Seller will not be notified to deliver, ship, or transfer the merchandise or services to the Buyer until the shortage has been sent to Escrow.com.

If you have additional questions or concerns about payment shortages, please contact our customer support department via email at support@escrow.com or chat support when they are online.
