Step 3: Seller Ships Merchandise to Buyer

The Seller ships the merchandise to the Buyer's address listed on the escrow.com site. The Seller ships the merchandise using an online trackable method of shipping and insures the item for the full value.

The Seller must initially pay for the shipment of the merchandise. If the Buyer is responsible for paying the shipping costs and a dollar amount is named in the shipping field, then Seller will be reimbursed that amount when the transaction is complete.

After the Seller has shipped the merchandise, they must sign in to Escrow.com and provide the tracking information. If no shipping was required, the Seller will indicate the delivery on the transaction screen.

Both parties can sign in to Escrow.com and use the tracking information to follow the shipment.

The inspection period will not begin until Escrow.com has confirmed delivery of the merchandise or the Buyer marks the merchandise as received on the transaction screen.
